Elite Force “Killer” P-51D North American Mustang. This warbird features an opening detailed cockpit, spinning propeller, and working landing gear.

The P-51D Mustang "Killer" was flown by Maj. Robert Stephens, in the 355th Fighter Squadron. Stephens was commanding officer of the 355th FS and scored 13 kills. He played minor league baseball and was a boxer. He named his Mustang after his boxing nickname, "Killer". In 1960 Stephens was named Director of Inspection for the Tactical Air Command and was killed during an inspection flight.

Notice the model company's practical joke on the side of the cockpit…the stenciling says the pilot is "Capt. John Madden.”
